Sick & Tired

We are back from "vacation".  Four days is not long enough!  Especially when you have to fly with an infant.  We had a great time with family and friends in the desert, but are completely exhausted.  Warren did not sleep well (cutting some teeth).  He got up no less than four times a night to cry.  I caught a cold on the plane and started getting sick on Friday.... full blown misery today.  Mike has a cold too and stayed home from work today.  I would have stayed home also except my sick bank is depleted from being on maternity leave, boooo!

Travel Day

We are off to Palm Springs today, catching an evening flight after work.  We woke up to cold, gray rain this morning; it will be so nice to bask in the warm sunshine this weekend!  Zoe went to camp this morning; she is staying at Camp BowWow while we are gone.  Warren will miss her, but he is very excited to see his relatives.  I look forward to posting some great pictures of our trip.

Zoo Boise

Sunday afternoon the weather was nice enough to take Warren to the zoo... something I've been wanting to do for a while now.  I'm proud to say that Mike and I have become "friends of Zoo Boise" by purchasing a season pass.  Now our family is sure to enjoy many sunny afternoons at the zoo.

Vet and Photos and Errands, Oh My!

We had a busy little Saturday.  Zoe had a routine maintenance vet visit this morning and afterwards, Warren took us out for some Mexican food.  After lunch, Warren had his 6 month photos taken.  Can you believe he's 6 months old already?  (The photos turned out extremely cute by the way.)  Mike & I find it hard to believe we've been doing this for half a year... we're really looking forward to sleeping through the night again some day!

After Warren's photo shoot, we ran a few errands.  W got to ride in the shopping cart like a big boy, without his car seat!  He liked it.  Plus, Mike said pushing a cart with a plush cover on it made him feel extremely masculine ;)

Spring Fever

Warren hasn't quite been himself the past few days.  He went home sick from school on Monday (102 degree fever) and stayed home Tuesday and Wednesday as well.  This is his "I don't feel good" face:
