Ready to Roll

We purchased a bicycle trailer for Warren (and Zoe).  It converts into a stroller, so convenient for when you arrive at your destination!.  Now we are sure to spend lots of family fun time on our bikes.  If only the weather would cooperate we could go for a ride.

Update:  One year later, we still LOVE this trailer.  It has proven to be invaluable to our active family.  We've never experienced a problem or technical difficulty with it.  We take it out jogging every Saturday so that both Warren and Zoe can come along.  It's been fun.

Famous Potatoes

The Burkholders participated in the Boise "Famous Idaho Potato Race" on Saturday.  Mike ran the 10K and I pushed Warren in the stroller for the 5K; he had a good time!

Warren has four new teeth, for a grand total of eight!  His new grin sure is cute.

Master Bathroom Vanity Revamp

After 2 years of intending to get around to it, I finally painted our master bathroom vanity.  It looks so much better!  Don't you think?
Before: 1980's builder grade golden oak... ugh!

After: Behr Paint + Primer in "Popped Corn" and lovely new hardware

Now I can't wait to replace the counter top and wall mirrors.  Let's do this!

Living Room Refresh

I was getting a little bored with our living room decor, so I decided to freshen it up.  I replaced the artwork, sofa pillows and the valances.  The new artwork features bicycles... how fitting for the happy bicycle loving family!

Mother's Day

Warren made a mother's day card at school.  What a good boy!

Sleepless in Boise

Warren got up every 15 minutes between 11:30 pm Wednesday night and 5:30 am Thursday morning. Three new teeth coming in make it hard for Warren (or anybody else in the house) to sleep at night. Let's hope the teething phase passes quickly. Mike and I are exhausted!

My 9 month 6 month old

I realize baby clothing sizes don't always correspond with their age, so I have to laugh.  Warren plumped up so quickly that he blew right past the 6 months size, into the 9 months size.  Unfortunately, he has some very cute shorts in his closet that he never had a chance to wear... they are too tight on his precious little belly.
